Monte Sierra, Cab-Merlot-Tempranillo 2020

Monte Sierra is owned by Bodegas Pirineos, a leading cooperative of winemakers situated throughout the small region of Somontano, in the foothills of the Pyrenees of northern Spain. Established in 1993, the cooperative focuses on making fresh wines at excellent value. And their Cab-Merlot-Tempranillo 2020 is exactly that. Youthful, bright and spicy, it has heaps of black fruit notes, bramble and ripe strawberry. The palate is well-rounded, with a little tannin and medium-body complimenting the flavours of plum, blueberry and oak on the finish.
